Diabetes The Big Lie

Diabetes is a word that I never put much thought in.  That all changed one day, it was like that word was screaming loud and extremely crystal clear, I am here.  DIABETES, what is it, how do you get it, how does it affect you, etc,  so many questions, but I had no answers.  I found out that  a few of my family members were diagnosed with diabetes, but still I was so ignorant to the gravity ofdiabetes-poking-self the situation when it came to diabetes.  Now the with lack of knowledge of this ailment I was thinking that it was something you get like a cold, take some cold medicine like  Alka-Seltzer Plus, orange juice, and get some rest, and you will be better.  NO, I was very wrong!

GO HERE to get off the endless cycle of having to poke yourself day in and day out. As I began do my research, I very quickly discovered that DIABETES affects many people here in the Untied States, as well as a great multitude though out this vast planet of ours.  It effects stars such Tom Hanks and Paula Dean. What I found even more surprising and disturbing was the number of people that are identified as pre diabetics.  According to ( CDC) Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, more than 29 million people in the United States have diabetes, up from the previous estimate of 26 million in 2010. If you think that 29 million is high, then this is going to knock you off your feet, it is estimated also by the CDC, than another 86 million adults have prediabetes.  It is estimated without diabetes-injecting-insulinweight loss and moderate physical activity, 15 to 30 percent of people with prediabetes will develop type 2 diabetes within five years. This mean is that one in three U.S.  adults is in this condition. Now I want you take in account these numbers are only for the United State, so you can image the numbers for the rest of the world are off the charts.  Now you may be asking,  I know I was what makes a person have prediabetes; it is where the person blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not high enough to be classified as type 2 diabetes.  Start Here to learn what you can do for yourself to make things better in your life.

There are three main types of diabetes: type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes.  Majority of Americans that have diabetes have type 2.  Of the 29 million that have diabetes, over 28 million of the people have type 2. Type 1 has been known as juvenile diabetes, it is usually diagnosed in children and young adults. Of all the people that have diabetes only about 5% of them have type 1. The third type of diabetes is Gestational it develops in pregnant women.  The cause of gestational     is not known. It starts when a woman’s body is not able to make and use all  the insulin it needs for pregnancy.

Now what is diabetes? What causes diabetes? Is there a cure? Let’s begin by answering the first question. According to the CDC; Diabetes is the condition in which the body does not properly process food for the use of energy. What can happen to someone with diabetes if it is not being monitored or goes untreated? People that have diabetes are at an increased risk of having serious health complications including vision loss, heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, amputation of toes, feet or legs, and premature death.  Diabetes is the seventh leading cause of death in the United States.  Up till this very day, it is still completely unknown what causes a person to develop diabetes. Not only that, there is no cure for diabetes and in my opinion there will never be one.  Non-Hispanic black, Hispanic, and American Indian/Alaska Native are about twice as likely to be diagnosed with diabetes as non-Hispanic white adults.

I want you to consider something, when was the last cure of any disease? I will wait! I know you do not remember, let me help you, it was Polio. What year was that, I will wait again, let me assist you again, it was 1953. If my math is correct that is 63 years and counting.  With a global amount of $471billion yearly and rising and a tab of $176 billion here in the US. I can see why there is not motivation by any one, especially the big Pharmaceutical companies, doctors and the FDA.  If there was a cure there would be no money being made off of metformin, test strips, syringes, and amputations.   Tap Here to stop being part of the money making cycle.

The family members are not dealing with diabetes anymore they were able  get off this vicious cycle, by going to this site.  From the  site they learned a lot that the doctors will not tell them or are not able to inform them about, when it comes to curing oneself of diabetes.  I am so happy and thankful that my family members are back to being healthy without any limitations.
